A Brief Explanation

Here's the short story. I've neglected my health for nearly a decade. I'm using this Weblog to document my efforts toward better fitness. Here's the opening post, which pretty much explains it all. I've taken as my motto the words of Dr. George Sheehan. "First, be a good animal."

4.2 & 4.3

yesterday: banana and coffee for breakfast...ham sandwich for lunch...nice green salad and pasta with red sauce and fresh basil for supper - with some bella sera rosso

today: banana, all bran with skim and intelligentsia decaf sumatra 7 points so far

i need to get back to meticulous counting for awhile

2 eggs in red sauce with fresh basil and grated asiago (uovos en purgatorio) and a nice mixed salad for lunch - have to check on points later

new york strip, baked potato and mixed veggies for dinner - grilled out during a horrendous thunderstorm
