Here's the short story. I've neglected my health for nearly a decade. I'm using this Weblog to document my efforts toward better fitness. Here's the opening post, which pretty much explains it all. I've taken as my motto the words of Dr. George Sheehan. "First, be a good animal."

bp a little high again the past couple of days

it's getting warmer here - 84 F already and it's not yet noon

5 point breakfast (full cup of skim with the cereal)

i'll have a subway 6-pointer of some sort and a cup of grapes (1 point) for lunch

very busy today with clips for a new project i'm working on for adam

kindermusik tonight so a late supper

very nice though - brown rice, chuck roast and veggies (red and green peppers, onions and mushrooms) - about 6 points total

and enjoying a bully porter now
